Pinelands and Mead Way
The “garden city” suburb of Pinelands is located on the edge of the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town in South Africa and is known for its large thatched houses. Many of these have been declared Heritage houses. The First house being built on Mead Way in 1922.
Campbell’s Corner is located on the property of one of the Thatched houses on Mead way which has been declared a National Monument. This house was built in 1923.

From Airport: Take N2 Motorway. Take Exit 10B/M52 Off-ramp Signed: Raapenberg Road/Pinelands.
From City: Take N2 Motorway. Take Exit 10/M52 Off-ramp Signed: Pinelands.
Proceed through traffic lights on railway-bridge. Proceed along Forest Drive until you reach Meadway which is the 3rd road on the left after the bridge and before the bend in Forest Drive. Turn left and drive down towards traffic circle. Campbell’s Corner is No: 16 Meadway which is the last house on the right. You will need to double back from the traffic circle to gain access, as roads are one-way only.
